Today has been easy.
I woke up around 9 and doddled over to my girlfriend’s house to work on a huge theater project that I am working on with her mom. Fairly easy, thus far. Tonight, however, is going to be difficult. Tonight my girlfriend and I are going to San Diego, CA for a Rotary General Meeting, and this will be fine since they are providing food and drink for the event: no inherent danger here. The problem is the after… We are going to be meeting Monica’s[1] parents and their friends and heading out for drinks… THEREIN LIES THE PROBLEM! The temptation will be great, but I think I can overcome such adversity. We shall see.

A Challenge
Another interesting development: a challenge has arisen. Tygr20 has challenged me to a friendly competition to see who can spend the least amount of unnecessary money in the next 30 day period. Well all I can say to you, sir, is BRING IT ON! It is obvious that in any competition you wouldn’t be able to beat me, and this is no different. I have heard rumors that he is unable to walk past gumball machines without tossing in a quarter, and the world is filled with many gumball machines.

It’s genuine! Perhaps it was the lack of punctuation that made you think it could be sarcasm. Fret not, fret not! A difficult challenge lies in front of you; I wish you the greatest of luck!
Thank you… though I am not sure whether or not that is genuine or sarcastic.
Good luck
