Wednesday

AND MORE RUNNING AROUND!

Just like on Tuesday[1], I had to do a bunch of running around, and I ended up on a job site in Orange, CA helping my service tech track down a massive leak in a line of copper tubing in an air conditioning system. After he cut 4 holes in the drywall, he finally found it… but I was terribly sick while out there, so I honestly don’t remember much of this event, and I don’t remember much about this day. What I do remember is that I was starving as I drove away from the job site. Along with what I mentioned in my last post[2], not being able to grab a quick bite when I am starving is a very huge strain on my resolve. Hunger is also the only times that I have broke and spent money on this operation. But they were times I expected to be spending money. I would definitely be able to starve myself and not spend money[3], but the thing that has made me spend is that I can’t stand to let my girlfriend not eat! So there ya go…

Anyways, Wednesday was filled with me consuming liquids… liquids liquids liquids. I was at the height of my cold, and I was practically dead. So after I worked, I went home and crawled into bed and did nothing. Monica eventually made it over to my house, we watched plenty of my DVR’d television, and I very slowly did my laundry… this may be the most exciting day of the Op.

Thursday

Today was the day that I had my Echo for my heart. For those that don’t know, I had an incident with my heart which ended up giving me abnormal EKG results, and so I am going through tests to make sure that I am actually fine. Anyways, I went into work today, ran some paperwork to a law firm[4], and I made it back in time to head to my doctors appointment.

After waiting in the waiting room, I headed back to the room and she had me take off my shirt and lay on my left side. I had flashbacks to a Playboy Shoot[5] as she slowly attached the electrodes to my chest, and proceeded to goop-up the thingy… Yes, “thingy” is the best way I can put it. Essentially, it was like that thing that doctors use to look at babies whilst they are inside the uterus. Anyways, what happened next was one of the most amazing things of my life: I saw my heart. She placed the wand over my heart and on the screen was an image of my heart. I saw valves, I saw pumping, and I think I saw what was a temperature gauge? Not sure what it was but there were two distinct colors, possible incoming blood and outgoing blood? No idea…

As I was watching my heart, I could hear the noise that my heart made and the whole time I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing. This thing that I am watching was and is inside my chest. This wasn’t something that was just on TV. This wasn’t something that was just on the internet. It wasn’t just some random person that was providing a heart to be seen by people… it was MINE, and it was very peaceful.

That is about enough of that.

I would delve into how I came home and vacuumed, but that would just be stupid.
