This week’s Missed Connection is a personal fantasy of mine: finding love (or at least NSA action) at the library. The library: a place where you can not only find books, movies, and music, but hot men in purple shirts to hook up with.

I have recently purchased a library card and haunt the library on average of 3 or 4 days a week, and constantly keep an eye out for attractive men. Unfortunately, the closest I got to finding love at the library was when I was sure an attractive librarian with a beard asked me what my phone number was was hitting on me instead of registering my library card information. Oh well, if lovers of the purple shirts can find love, maybe there is hope for the heartless. Maybe one day I’ll meet a chap in the fiction section in the FITZ area. Our hands will accidentally brush when we reach for the same short stories book, our eyes will meet, and we’ll fall desperately in love. And by desperately in love, I really mean bang in the local history section like this dude wants to.
