Yaschuk:
Winner: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button/The Dark Knight
Marshall:
Always hard to say without having seen an original cut of the film to see exactly how good an editor is. I’m going to guess that “Button” is going to win, but I thought of all the nominees “Frost/Nixon” had the best. It could also go to “Dark Knight” but I know lots of people complained about the chase scenes were not cut together very well.
Winner: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Kevin:
Tricky business this one. I will say Slumdog Millionaire though.
WInner: Slumdog Millionaire
Tyler:
Hands down, Slumdog Millionaire.
WInner: Slumdog Millionaire
Grant:
I always think that movies like this are really tough to edit… and even though I may be dazzled by the glitz and the glam, I am still going to pick it!
Winner: The Dark Knight

Winner: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Kevin:
My heart is screaming Dark Knight because of the job they did making Gotham City come to life. But I know that all round, Slumdogs cinematography was the superior job.
Winner: Slumdog Millionaire
Tyler:
It probably won’t get it but it’d be well deserved if it went to The Dark Knight.
Winner: The Dark Knight
Grant:
Again… a movie like this makes me think “GOD DAMN… THAT WOULD BE HARD TO SHOOT!”. They were able to shoot an action movie, and yet still keep it beautiful.
Winner: The Dark Knight

I love Shanley but I have a small problem with people adapting their own work and getting nominated for this. He already won the pulitzer for this!!! COME ON MAN!!! That being said, I would be really happy if he won!!! I just don’t think it is going to happen.
