It ain't Wright

Robin Hood

Whether or NOT?!:
YES.
The important question is… will this be good? To be honest I have no fucking clue, but the cast is solid[1] and the direction is there, but I just don’t know whether or not the motivation for this flick is in a spot to make it good? I suspect it is going to be an attempt for Crowe to track down the glory of his old days, but the movie won’t measure up to Gladiator. Either way it will be worth a watch on the big screen with good sound… So See IT! Just don’t drag your significant other to it[2] because she will make you pay with something… say the next movie on the list?

Whether or NOT?!:
NO!
And trust me… I love romantic comedies… So you know I’m not just saying no because I am a guy.
There is nothing about this movie that makes me want to rush out and see it in a movie theater. And I am getting tired of RomComs that revolve around finding things… And now I am going to go watch Serendipity.

Amanda Seyfried

Just Wright

NO…
Common Sense Dictates that this movie will be epic shit… So if you force your GF or Wife to go see Robin Hood, hopefully she just makes you see Letters to Juliet… but take note if she tries to make you see this movie, I would recommend getting a new girlfriend…

Notables:
Common, Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad & Pam Grier

Footnotes
  1. though thanks to Crowe there is a high Douche-Bag factor []
  2. I am assuming only men read this []

  1. @Robby – I think you are taking “ape shit” pills… Just Wight being less predictable!? I saw the trailer and thus have seen the entire movie… Also with robin hood, that is the big thing “It looks good” not sure if it actually is… it might be one of those houses that has great curb appeal but once you get inside you realize the previous owner raised chickens… IN THE HOUSE!

@Blake – I know… i know! Surprisingly i don’t but in my opinion it goes under the same category as “When In Rome” and it is a romantic/RomCom that I have no desire to see…

I can’t believe you don’t want to see Letters to Juliet Grant. I mean…it’s right up your alley.

    So, here’s what I think…as little as it’s worth.

I agree that Robin Hood looks pretty good. It’s getting mixed reviews, but who gives a crap what critics think? I’ll go see it.

As for the letters movie. Geez, that looks like possibly the most predictable movie to come out ever. And that includes reboots. Did the guy they were looking for turn out to be the most interesting man in the world?

I think that Just Wright isn’t quite as predictable, but if a girlfriend was gonna drag me to one…I’d choose this one. At least it has some good actors and I think I saw Dwight Howard in the trailer!
