OK apparently everyone got out of the way for Harry Potter. I guess… So… I really have no preamble for this WR.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

OK. This is the second to last film in —— wait… what??? oh are you sure? This is the sixth film based on a series of seven books, so why would this not be the second to last film. —- OH… THEY DID? Money grubbing whores. Next time you make a series of movies, maybe tossing in a couple of other two-parters would be a good idea, because now you just seem like douche bags who are sad their cash cow is going to the slaughter house to make delicious, diamond-encrusted hamburger… mmmmmm….
ANYWAYS… This is the Harry Potter where something big happens. I am not saying that because I have read it, I am saying that because I have a girlfriend who TALKS ABOUT IT ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME. If I had a nickle for every time my girlfriend got all googly over Twilight or excited over HP, the world’s economy would crash as I would literally hold 100% of the world’s wealth. So, for the sake of our nation, world, and universe, let’s hope that there isn’t a rouge genie or wizard out there wanting to make that little dream/nightmare of mine a reality.
Sorry, this is what happens when there aren’t many movies to talk about: I ramble… about nothing that really has to do with the movies…
ANYWAYS… yeah… What was I saying? OH! Something big, yeah something big happens. I won’t tell you what it is (oh, I know) but I will say that… SOMEONE DIES!
Whether or NOT?!: What do you think?
Of course you must see this. The best thing that happened to this series is David Yates and locking him up to the last film… er… FILMS… is awesome. That means that he will have directed the last three… god damn it… the last FOUR films of the series, and that way the climax and conclusions will all have a similar feel.
WAIT… I take that back. The best thing that ever happened to the series was Chris Columbus deciding to move on from directing. He’s back doing films that he has business doing, LIKE I Love You, Beth Cooper… Thank god he is back making movies that I never want to see, because if he made flicks that I might want to see, then I don’t have to deal with him RUINING THEM!

(500) Days of Summer [limited]

This is a movie that premiered at Sundance and, in fact, won BEST FILM at the festival. It stars two of my favorites, Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Zooey Deschanel. So… let’s not beat around the bush much longer…
It is in limited release, so it may be tough to find, but here is something to whet your appetite.
Whether or NOT?!: DEFINITELY.
This is a no-brainer. Every single person that has had an opportunity to see this flick loves it, and every single person hopes it opens up in WIDE WIDE release. So hopefully all those people are right, because if they are not, I will be sad.
Notables: Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Zooey Deschanel
