This weekend is not going to turn the box office around… but nonetheless, here are the sparse goods.
- Good Dreamworks CGI Plot… wait WHAT!?
- Good Underused Actor, Elias Koteas
Monsters vs. Aliens

This is the first time (at least it seems) that Dreamworks has made a CGI animated flick that doesn’t have a green ogre, or an annoying donkey… and THANK GOODNESS! There is only so far you can beat a concept into the ground before you pop out the other side of the planet (that is, if you make it through the molten gooey center of our beloved Earth). SO GOOD FOR THEM! The thing that I remember most about this flick is that they said the word breasts in one of the clips… which means that this movie is not pandering to the smallest of the small children! WHICH could be a really good sign.
Whether or Not?!: YES.
This is so obviously the best movie to be coming out this weekend. This weekend is a horrible piece of crud that has one piece of corn in it. And that piece of corn is this flick. The cast is unbelievable, and there is absolutely no reason to think that this flick is going to disappoint. It is a solid good, and definitely worth a watch.
Notables: Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Rainn Wilson, Stephen Colbert, Paul Rudd, Julie White, Jeffrey Tambor, Amy Poehler, Ed Helms, Renée Zellweger, & John Krasinski
The Haunting in Connecticut

Horror/Thriller
Whether or Not?!: Like I always say, these movies are review/preview proof, so I am not going to say anything…
WHAT I WILL SAY is Elias Koteas is in this, and that means there is something worth watching in this flick!
Notables: Elias Koteas, Virginia Madsen, & Martin Donovan
12 Rounds

Didn’t they already make this movie!? Let me save you the trouble from scrolling down: this flick is a disaster, and it BLOWS. There will be nothing good about it. If you want to see a great ‘guy movie action porn’, wait for Crank 2: High Voltage.
Whether or Not?!: NO!
ARE YOU FREAKING JOKING ME?! Why was this movie made? OH I guess it was after the success of Cena’s last movie… what a god damn waste of money. They could’ve fed the homeless, but they would rather make this shit?! For that, they go to hell.

I once said that I would go see 12 Rounds, if I didn’t have to pay for it, based on 5 seconds of a trailer that I watched. Now that I see that the dude from The Marine is in it, I wish to retract that statement.
My disdain for horror flicks is always more noticeable when you look back at my B.O. prediction… since i hate them, i always push them way down the top 5!
