I know something is coming out this weekend… but I can’t remember what. It probably isn’t anything big, or I would’ve seen advertisement in every form for 7 straight weeks, and it would feel as if I have seen the flick 12 times already with the amount of bombardment I have received from the various media outlets. So it is safe to assume that this weekend is going to be a completely slow weekend, with no major blockbuster. That being said, I believe that we will finally reach the summer movie blockbusters next week with the big budget documentary about celebrities that enjoy walking in the forest.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Not 100% certain what this one is going to be about. I assume it is probably connected to the universe of Mulder and Scully. So just based on the fact that this is a prequel to a hit out of date television show and two mediocre movies, I can’t in my right mind recommend it. BUT, just to be completely fair, I should probably give the trailer a quick view.
WOW… OK, I was WAY off with this one, but I didn’t think that this was the flick because wasn’t this one released weeks ago? Almost everyone I know has already seen it, and most already own copies. Regrettably, I haven’t seen it yet.
Whether or Not?!: Yes.
Of course you should see this flick, and see it in the theater. I am not saying that this is going to be an amazing cinematic flick, but if you are going to see this flick there is only one way you should see it… on the biggest fucking screen, with the loudest fucking speakers, and the most fucking people[1] you can.
The real interesting thing will be whether or not the leak on the net will take away from the box office, and LET ME VENTURE OUT ON A LIMB… it will make it bigger.
Notables: Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, & Ryan Reynolds.
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

AGAIN I AM EXCITED! Originality wins out in Hollywood! We haven’t seen something this original since 17 Again. Essentially 3 ghosts pop in on a womanizer, played by McConaughey, and show him the error of his ways. Awesome… I hope that he discovers who is and then ends up with the girl of his dreams! OH HOW I HOPE!
Whether or Not?!: No.
This is going to be a pointless flick made for millions of dollars, and those millions would’ve been better off feeding children in Africa. This is the entire reason why this weekend went from “Sunny” to “Partly Cloudy”. Yes… this flick is the clouds covering a beautiful sunny and blue sky.
Notables: Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas, Breckin Meyer, Lacey Chabert, Robert Forster, & Anne Archer.
Battle for Terra

Wait, what?
OH! That flick. I do remember seeing a trailer for this at some point, though I am not entirely sure where.
Whether or Not?!: Sure.
I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this and, to be honest with you, I think it is very important that we actually support animation studios that aren’t named Pixar or Dreamworks. The interesting thing about this flick is it has been touring the Film Festival circuit since its premiere at the 2007[2] Toronto Film Festival. There, it was very well received but for some reason it took 2 years to find a distributor. Why? I bet Pixar did a little squeeze play and forced distributors to think twice before picking up a new competitor’s flick!
Notables: A CRAP-LOAD of famous people. You would have to be HIGH if you expect me to start listing them off for a damn animated movie.
WOW… Since I apparently have no idea what I am talking about, I predict 17 Again to regain the top spot.
Obsessed to drop 98%.
Wolf Marine will make 12.98 total dollars.[3]
Terra won’t crack $10 million.
